Biography
Beatriz Vazquez, a native of Miami, Florida, practices criminal and family law. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Florida International University and prior to becoming an attorney, was certified by the Florida Bar as a paralegal for over ten years. She attended law school at Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad College of Law, and possesses a genuine compassion and understanding for our clients and the circumstances or problems they may confront.
Ms. Vazquez is also highly skilled at investigating, researching, and compiling information through the internet, databases, and other online resources. Ms. Vazquez is a member, in good standing, of the Bar of the State of Florida. She is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Similarly, Ms. Vazquez has also been admitted to practice in various criminal matters before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She has also assisted foreign counsel in various jurisdictions on criminal extraction matters including Panama, Colombia and Haiti. Ms. Vazquez has been recognized as one of the “Top 25 National Women Trial Lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers Association and “Top 40 Under 40” by the Association of American Trial Lawyers. She has been given the Client’s Choice Award rating by AVVO for several years.
